Brent Museum Opens at New Willesden Green Library
Objectives has designed a new permanent museum for Brent. The museum is a key feature of The Library, Willesden Green, a large, new-build cultural centre for the borough. The museum tells the story of Brent from pre-history to the present through over 400 objects, interactives and interpretative graphics.
Objectives has been responsible for the design of a the museum and public library for Market Harborough, located in a converted corset factory in the town centre.
Highlights of the redesign of this volunteer museum by Objectives include displays on the Mildenhall Treasure – the UK's largest Roman silver hoard – and the Anglo Saxon Lakenheath Warrior, discovered by local archaeologists with his horse and artefacts for the afterlife.
