Coultershaw Heritage Site,
West Sussex

The Coultershaw Heritate Site lovingly preserves a working, 18th Century beam engine, cared for by a passionate group of volunteers. It is a rare and significant example of Britain's engineering history and, with new interpretation, interactives and displays by Objectives, brings to life the area's thriving industrial past.

Objectives helped to secure HLF funding to bring the ambitious
and long-awaited plans of the trustees to fruition. The design complements the restoration of the engine house, Beam Pump Engine and warehousing, creating a dynamic resource for the public, historians and schools.
