'Information Superhighway',
Science Museum, London

A striking environment for this temporary exhibition helped curators bring an abstract notion to life - the Internet - and convey a vision of a world in which information travels at the speed of light.

The three interconnecting rooms – curiously shaped, brightly coloured and mirrored in parts – controlled the ambient light of the gallery, enhancing the quality of the back-lit panel system and the screen-based technology and interactives. On a subliminal level, they conveyed the unlimited potential of the Superhighway (or Internet, as we now know it) was as limited or boundless as the imagination.
