Verulamium Museum, St Albans Verulamium is an example of how displays can be object, curator and visitor friendly. Much of the information is imparted through low-maintenance interactives, while ‘visible storage’ puts a larger part of the collection on display than before and gives visitors access to many rare objects without compromising conservation requirements. The museum still gets impressive visitor numbers, some twenty years after it was designed. |
